The Dawn of a New Era in Medicine (Part II) | Indications of Wen’s Modern Acupuncture

Under the guidance of Dr. Tsung-Kai Wen, M.D., Ph.D., the first part of The Principles of Acupuncture: The Dawn of a New Era in Medicine explored the theoretical foundations and framework of Wen’s Modern Acupuncture. Grounded in Western medical science and supported by evidence-based medicine, Wen’s Modern Acupuncture offers a modern perspective on the value and significance of traditional Chinese acupuncture.

In Part II, we continue from the concept of embryonic homology, exploring the clinical indications of auricular acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, eye acupuncture, and tongue acupuncture within Wen’s Modern Acupuncture. Dr. Wen also shares selected successful clinical cases that demonstrate its application in practice.

Wen’s Modern Acupuncture is also expanding internationally, with more than one hundred practitioners currently studying and applying the approach worldwide. Approximately one-third of them have backgrounds in Western medicine. By incorporating modern scientific concepts and clearly defined clinical techniques, they are working to provide new possibilities for patients suffering from complex and difficult-to-treat conditions.
